Our Process
Area Rug Clean New Jersey takes care of rugs from around the world. Starting from the pick-up of your rugs, we bring them to clean at our facility, equipped with the required tools and machinery. Here, your rugs are treated through an extensive cleaning program to get rid of the dirt and stains inhabiting their fibers. Our cleaning process is based on 6 steps:
Inspection – For each rug brought to our facility, we start by inspecting and labeling it. We look for the amount of dust, the nature of the stains and the fabric material used in the manufacturing of the rug. This helps us to select the most suitable washing technique for your area rug while maintaining its shape and newness.
Dust Removal – Getting the dust out of the rug is among the most crucial steps for effective cleaning. As time goes by, the dust from the air and soil from shoes keeps on collecting in the rugs. It can go deep into the base of rugs not only making it dull but also providing a ground for the growth of naughty pests.
Washing – After removing the dust off the rug through mechanical procedures, we pass it on to the washing section. Here, we completely submerge the rug into mild water. This water bath involves the use of strong cleaning agents which get all the stains out making it cleaner and fresher. The rugs are then rinsed using ice cold water while washing out all the cleaning agents as well as the stained materials.
Water Extraction –After the entire process of cleaning is done your rug we will use a specialized extraction machine. This will pull 99% of the water out of your rugs. This will prevent mold and mildew.
Steam Cleaning –Once the water has been extracted we will steam your rug. This will ensure a soft, straight rug.
Drying – Finally, the rugs are passed through a rug wringer. It spins and pumps any excess water out of the rugs just in a few minutes. Our specialized machinery helps to protect the rug against the distortion of its piles. The rug comes out clean, dry and fresh.
